Kick off meeting for the FINCH Erasmus+ project

Our new Erasmus+ Project , KA201 "Familiy INvolvement in CHildren’s early education and care" officially debuted with a kick off meeting in Verdal, Norway. The meeting was hosted by our Norwegian coordinator and partner institutions VekstTorget As and Prios, and also monitored by Norwegian National Agency whom have offered their guidance in this challenging project.

The meeting lasted two full days, that have turned out to be very fruitful for the development of the intelectual outputs we plan to realize in the next two years.

Each partner has briefly presented its institution and then we have moved on to discuss the existing situation in each country regarding ESL and already implemented methods and strategies. We have learnt from one another and have presented our views regarding the outputs and activities we are each in charge of.

During the first day we also visited a school from Verdal and discussed their strategies used in the prevention of school drop out.

Before the next meeting that will take place in spring in Ankara we will already have a project visual image (logo, website etc) and we will start working on first steps as to set up the software aimed at supporting school and teachers to give early warning about students at risk of dropping out and also create first BL lessons to test in Pilot schools.
